Northern Ireland not included. How predictable. There's www.maindealerdiscount.com for BMWs, which does actually work in some respects (albeit not in NI yet).

I got 1 result - £149 for a "full" service on the MX5. I've only owned the car for 6 months, so I have no idea if that is a good price or not. I also have no idea what a "Full" service is classified as, isn't it dependent on mileage? (which doesn't appear to be asked for)

Absolutely friggin pointless - what makes Shell think users here wouldn't know where to get their car serviced, if that's what they wanted. And anyone else will go to a main dealer, local garage or look on yell.com or similar. From a marketing perspective, Shell have managed to look stupid on a hugely popular car site - nice one.

I suspect that PH'ers are not the core audience Shell are aiming at with this, but they don't know where else to go to find a bunch of people who are motorists. Advertising in a petrol station / motorway services / somewhere else never occurred to them. Papa Hotel said: Haymarket, how much did you get bunged for this nonsense? I guess the positive spin is that whatever they pay helps keep PH free for us lot. It does look like a spectacularly crap market offering though. And I'm not at all sure it reflects well on Haymarket for them to accept such advertising revenues. Oli.

Could be useful for all concerned if the OP answered some of the concerns raised on here and explained what they are trying to do instead of hiding behind anonymity!
Or this could just be a test run for them to see if it would work?

Nissan 350Z - no Saab 9-5 - no Lotus Elise - no
I assumed that these were just a bit too niche, so I stuck in a ford Focus 1.6 - no!
This product is not ready to be launched.

Shell said: Sorry, there are no AUDI dealerships participating in the Shell Car Servicing Network nearby In fairness, I can understand that such a niche car manufacturer wouldn't be supported in the sparsely populated county of Surrey So what does this offer that a quick Google, a copy of the phone book, or asking a friend couldn't achieve? Who's paying for the pleasure - the customer via over priced quotes (if so more fool them) or the garages that sign up (and if so will corners be cut to make up for the loss of income going to Shell in commission). Sorry, not a fan of these types of middle men services, I'm out.

Can't you just concentrate on competing in the retail fuel market? You know, your core business.
It's very annoying having to drive past a convenient Shell garage selling super for £1.39.9 when the supermarket 2 miles further is selling super for £1.30.9
