By far the most desirable Aston in the current line up. #2 is the V12V coupe. I really see no need to make it into limited units. Just keep on honing the V12 Vantage the way Porsche has done with the 911 for the past 50 years or so. A huge engine in a small car with perfect proportions. Keep it up Aston.

Nice enough for a pose-mobile but would anyone really choose one over a droptop 458 or MP4-12?

I'm a bit bored of Aston. They needed to move the design theme on after the DBS but they seem to be sticking with it. I think it is an iconic shape, but you can't use the same iconic shape for all of the cars in your range without it getting tired.
Yes, I would. It isn't as fast as the 458 or the MP4 but it's magnitudes more stylish, and I like the fact it's got a trad manual box. I love the Aston reinterpretation from the classic DB cars of the 50's and 60's.

Don't like that to be honest. Don't like the wheels either. Bland.

Its a little boring looking, it already looks 5-7 years old.
I think the 'Astons look boring/all the same' and '30k for a Golf!' must be the two most predictable replies on PH these days biggrin

Great looking car, like all Astons, wheels are a bit marmite though.

First on the list if my lotto ticket comes up without a doubt. Let's hope I win more than a tenner.

Totally agree, indeed one could easily say the 458 is the pose-mobile.

The last manual V12 Aston. Really?
Don't make me cry. I'll have to hurry

I agree - the bonnet vents look absolutely terrible on the V12. Presumably necessary, though?
You should see and feel the heat coming out of them after even a short journey.
Yes, I thought that would probably be the case - a shame from an aesthetic point of view but just a question of function over form I suppose.
They should have made them like this, then they'd actually look better than none rather than worse...

When looking for pictures of louvres, I found this pic from a V12 Vantage (concept car I think). Look much nicer painted with the rim removed.

Arse. This is the Aston I always wanted. Now I have no excuse to not buy one, so need to start selling the vital organs of my friends and loved ones smile

British racing green, fit some sensible wheels, switch to the original roadster rear lights and paint the louvres body coloured (as per the photo a few posts above) and you've got automotive perfection in my view lick

It's better than the new Vanquish; the rear end of which looks like some cheap Japanese copy of a proper Aston.

Those rear lights... hurl

The amount they depreciate in 10yrs you will. 03 I went to the Motor Show & saw a DB9 & GT Contenital for the 1st time & fell in love! Today they are £30k cars.

Fecking hell, a V12 putting out over 500bhp and people comment on the wheels...Unbelievable!!

If you can afford £150k for the car you can change the wheels they do come off you know!!
