I might have nudged 150mph in a BMW E34, 3.8 M5 at the age of 18. Yes, 18. Was on the Gamston Lings Bar Road in Nottingham - coming from the Wheatcroft island.
I got back to the workshop to be told it was "only a 5-series". I may have been 18 but I knew what the hell it was.

Got up to 130mph in my ST24 which practically killed it.

If the rain subsides tomorrow I might beat my 135 at Bedford on the loop at Donington.

191 in an LP640, doesn't feel that fast in a car so capable.

Indicated 145 leptons in the clio must have had a bit of wind assistance that night...

About 145 in a Gallardo, the shape of the track wouldn't allow for higher speeds.

155 in a 745. A GT3 RS came past us rather swiftly though!
Bugger, just noticed driven. I was a passenger in the above.

Sometime in 1987, somewhere in Germany an indicated 147mph showed on the speedo of my Golf GTI.

Last weekend on the continent in the Cerb I've regularly done 140-150 in my elderly Porsche and it never feels wrong, but the Cerb is different - raw, loud, intense, always an event. I only pulled out because the bonnet started lifting on one side, but there was no guarantee that things weren't going to fall off or blow up.

Not really sure how accurate the speedos were, but I've seen 163 back when I had my Yamaha R6, and have seen 155 on my Suzuki SV1000s..
You have to Vmax your machine once...
