Hmm so the Contours look the best bet to me. Sure they are all better than the Z4 ones though. Being powerfully built I find the Z4 bases a bit restrictive!

Good bit of lateral thought but not successful. I love it, but always wondered what engineering benefit it brought that meant it made more sense than a V4/V8 of similar displacement. Intriguing though. You were only allowed four pots.

Ah, an L knocks it out completely. I really would like my girlfriend, Helen, to drive it and she's not keen on the length of the "short wheelbase" model

Had a fantastic day in the Cotswolds yesterday with the parents as we went to Prescott hillclimb for the annual Vintage Sports Car Club event.
Weather was a tad iffy but the Defender lapped up the 5 hour round trip and dealt with the muddy (and steep) carpark at the event with only the ease a Landy can. There were cars getting stuck all over the place and people falling over (chortle).
But more importantly was watching Brescia's, Ulster's, 3 Wheeler Morgan's, Special's and all manner of wonderful machinery powering their way up the hill. This event for me is second only to The Revival.
Fantastic.
