I'm not sorry at all
Discussion
I wanted a ZT and got a Skoda Octavia vRS back in 2002.
Maybe not the obvious choice, but I drove a lot of sporty saloons and it was as good or better than anything I drove within £10K (and the extra 10K was too much to justify a 325i in my mind).
Lots around and having sat in the latest model recently, I still prefer the original's styling.

I have looked at the fiesta ST but think I'd prefer a CTR or even 182 for the money
I understand but the CTR will have a lot higher miles. I have looked at 182s before switching my own search to STs. The Renault, I regret, feels flimsy, looks a bit 90s inside (let's face it, the Fiesta is relatively dated inside) and usually has odd costs like discoloured headlights, a new cam belt regime at 70k or less, auxiliary belt at 35k (can take out the cam belt with it)and these can be expensive. Ultimately, while cheap and doubtless fantastic driver's cars, the 100k cambelt on the Ford and the fact it looks and feels more substantial, won me over. But look for yourself, only you can decide. CTR is certainly a good car having had one myself.
S4's are cheap as chips to buy at the moment, I had an e39 528 before the one ive got at now and it costs me almost twice as much to keep on the road doing the same stuff, so if youd struggle with a 330 dont even consider one. If your frst is any good it would probably be a good match for the speed aswell, awesome cars though
None of the cars listed in the original post are going to be much better on fuel than a 330ci. I'd specifically avoid a high mileage S3 or BMW diesel.
Why not get something a bit smaller?
A Focus ST170 isn't amazing on fuel but they are very reliable, cheap to fix, practical, you can use it for towing (I think) but best of all you can get one for half of your budget, spare money will always come in handy.
MG ZR160, economical for the performance and the facelifted ones look great.
Celica T-Sport 190, similar sort of performance to the Integra but again you could get one for well under budget.

I can't see any other posts from you in this thread.
Is this a case of 'Internet Tourettes?

OP, I would suggest to go out a have as many test drives as you can, take it from me, 12 months, 2 cars and, if the second one sells at px value I would have lost 1K in 12 months
If you can't afford too much for repairs/maintenance, I would stay clear of Audi and E39D which, by the way are not great on fuel considering the price of diesel now days.
Thanks for the advice.
What sort of price do you think it should sell at then? I'm not in any rush to sell and its a very clean example so I don't feel its far off. Prices are never set in stone so somekne can always make an offer of what they think is reasonable.
I have also amended my advert so there is no mention of CD player. At the end of the day I only paid £100 a few years ago now so it can go with the car.

That doesn't look like a 3.5k fiesta RS turbo to me, think you could be waiting a while. Also if you're keeping hold of the Sony head unit that's in it get a second hand £20 head unit fitted, because reading adverts where the seller states I'm keeping this and that puts people off.
I agree.A couple of my mates are Ford fans (one owns a 3dr Cossie in Moonstone and the other an S2 RS Turbo) and as far as I can tell, the Fiesta RS Turbo is not in as much demand as the Escort RS Turbo.
The classifieds aren't exactly awash with FRST so it's hard to put a price on it, but that other white one seems ok to me and is up for £2500, with the mods to yours maybe £2750 is more realistic?
