CapriV6S said: Ok, what were donor parts used then, i mean no-one gets a one-off windscreen made, (could buy a Lamborghini for less), and window-glass sized and manufactured. This guy did and you're right: he said that it did cost him a small fortune. He fashioned the exact shapes he needed with wooden bucks and created patterns from those. All the glass was subsequently produced for him by a company in (if memory serves him correct) Birmingham and the stainless steel frames by a local company in Wellingborough. Other than the Princess engine and gearbox there wasn't really a donor car in the usual sense, although clearly certain parts were taken from other cars. The chassis was a bespoke mid-engined stainless steel creation of his own design and manufacture. You can see from one of my close ups of the lower side bodywork that this is still in pretty perfect condition. Check out the sill at the bottom: that is part of the bare stainless steel tub. Imagine what that would look like after 35 years outside if it had been produced in regular mild steel!

Sounds like the latest TVR with the 'lets raid the parts bin' with multitude of parts from gawd knows where. I bet that engine got hot (and everyone else) sitting just behind the seats.

Mother in Law is pissed off because LotusOmega stole her secret. She was enjoying having access to info that nobody else had and they all wanted.
Its a woman thing. They like 'secrets'.

I can't really understand why your wench-in-law has got the hump. The couple Lotus spoke to were more than happy with him knocking by the sounds of things.

Hmm I cant quite line it up with a Skylark on Google images, but sure does look like some kind of Buick.

Its GM car from very early 70s, like Kojaks Buick Regal but a 2-door version, probably a big-block 8-litre V8 but strangled down to 180 bhp.
OMG did I really type that, i need anti-anorak therapy.

Edit: or a le sabre, Depending on the spec. I'll go for 1972 Le Sabre (Centurion has vertical grille bars).
