Sounds like some pistonheads members and some staff are more suited to watching eastenders. If so many of ye are sick of the same style of his videos why bother watching? Is it purely so that you can run to pistonheads and have a moan?
This is all PH is these days. It's a shame, it's changed alot since I started here.LandingSpot said:

A 5,Ltr mustang for an Extra $7000.00 over a ST focus new price, all ok if all you want to do is drive in a straight line with the mustang, i will take the ST any day.
I'd take the Mustang over the Focus any day, as I really like balanced cornering under acceleration, which isn't possible in a front wheel drive. The Focus is probably better for doing the shopping in though, or for dropping the kids off at school, plus it's lighter on fuel.Live axle...sub optimal for handling consistency on rough surfaces.
Front wheel drive...plain wrong for balanced handling under power on any surface.

I'm not sure but you are definitely one of the people who replied without reading any of the other responses first. In short: no. It's becoming a bit too much of the same sh...
BTW do you have any videos of you at work on Youtube I can watch?
Dear Ken,
Please stop making these videos and let the people that live to complain about what OTHER PEOPLE ACTUALLY GET OFF THEIR BACKSIDES TO DO put their own videos together. -
Yeah, doesn't sound very good now does it... The man does what most true petrolheads would pay to do, films it, makes it look very nice indeed and people complain? No matter what anyone does, no matter how brilliant it is.. there is ALWAYS someone (usually from Blighty, sadly) that couldn't do anything remotely comparable in their wildest dreams, but will still see fit to complain.
I think Stephen Fry said it best in an episode of room 101 regarding critics and them only living to find fault with others.. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

Not only that but WTF has videos of McRae etc got to do with gymhana? It's like some kinda vicarious one-upmanship.
I'm amazed how so many apparently intelligent people can't just accept the gymkhana stuff for what it is, and that's just in the forums. As if that's not enough, Trent comes along and flogs the donkey some more on the front page.

I like the gymkhana videos but I'm pleased that people criticise them, even if it that is to shouts of heresy. I'm sure ken block LTD will look at both sides of the arguments when discussing number 6. Granted you can't please everyone all the time but there is nothing wrong with constructive critiscm.

The old Vauxhall Astra Dual Fuel? Seemed like a pointless car to LPG....
Is that featured in the next video? A friend of mine has one of the LPG Astras with 200,000+ miles on it, still drives well and saves him a fair bit of cash but it's not the most thrilling of cars and having driven it to the south coast and back I wouldn't fancy trying to drift it.

The amusing part for me is people compare the Ken Block videos to Mcrae, without realising that Colin Mcrae is his idol. The whole inspiration for him going rallying and everything else since is all because of Mcrae Not only that but WTF has videos of McRae etc got to do with gymhana? And a live rear axle didn't seem to harm the Mk2 Escort...
This just turned up on the Drive YouTube channel … Behind the scenes of Gymkhana 5
here's the making of Gymkhana 2...
Part 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uQ2crRhDZU&fea...
Part 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsqFJPyxveU&fea...
Part 3 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DylSYX5gWVQ&fea...
I know it is an old one - but shows the build up to the getting the shots spot on
edited to add extra parts (part 3 is best - the bit where he hits the dummy at the beginning is terrifying till you realise it isn't a real person!)
