- 14's on my current Westfield and previous Pug 205 GTi, 106 Rallye and 106 XSi - 15's on my 106 XSi - 16's on my current BMW e36 and old 106 XSi (big mistake!) - 17's and 18's on my old e36.
Coming round to loving smaller wheels on my daily driver. Must be getting old.

I've had 13" wheels on several cars, 14" wheels on a Peugeot 405 and a Sierra, 15" wheels as standard on a Mk3 Golf GTI and aftermarket on a Mk1 Golf GTI, 16" on a Jaguar,
I currently have 18" wheels on a Seat Leon.
edit - 390mm metrics on a BMW 325iX too.

My 530d has 275/30/19's on the rear, they look ace but are ludicrously expensive for a car designed for mile munching
Hey ho, as non run flats the ride quality is great (far better than my 17's with rft's On 1 series)
My 320ed had 16's and big Eco tyres and the ride was excellent but way too soft when turning in hard

Saabs - all 15" except the one that got 16" 9000 Aero wheels at some point (no sensible performance rubber available anymore in 60 profile, and 205/55/15 wasn't ideal on the 5.5" wide standard alloys)
Citroën ZX - 14"
MINI One and Cooper - 15" Current Cooper S - 16"
TVR - 15" front, 16" rear

All sizes 14-18. The 18s are worst, by far, and will be replaced by 17s when I get around to it.

10's and 12's on my Minis (13's ruined the handling). Metric wheels on my MG Metro followed by 13's because I couldn't get decent tyres. 13's on my X-1/9, Pandas, Uno's, Cinquecento's, Seicento's, Viva's, Rover 213S and Escort. 14's on my Punto GT, Cinquecento, Uno rally car, Alfa 33 Giardinetta, Rover 216 Vitesse and Escort XR3i. 15's on my Delta HF, Fiat Coupe and Escort Van (TSW Venoms no less). 16's on my Fiat Coupe 20V turbo. Nothing bigger because I've never needed big wheels to compensate for anything.
