Cheese on bread! You are joking? Interiors is one area where Bavaria falls short. Not on quality, but ambiance. This wouldn't look out of place on a Trabant.
The exterior though, whether you like it or not can't be denied that it looks the part. Expensive and well conceived. You must be new to cars, or even life so we'll all forgive you for your transgression.
I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this. I just see the A8's interior as bland. I don't mind S Class' just prefer the 7 Series' interior. I'm new to pistonheads but not carsbiggrin

Exactly what I thought! - particularly when compared to the more aggressive, round 'Angel Eyes' of late.

Bit of a lazy cookie cutter report in my opinion. You get flown to St. Petersburg at great expense to BMW and all we get is this? Expect those invites to start to dry up.

OR you could go 5 star hotels all the way, have a tour guide (I had one for a day) and not really experience the 'real city'.

I've always wanted to go but I'm not white either so this^^^^

I dunno, I have felt less safe in parts of Coventry than I have in Russia - at the end of the day, it is a big city, with big city problems - but it isn't as bad as the media portray it, although maybe that is because I go around with the locals and don't stand out as a tourist, so don't draw attention to myself.

That's all well and good, but if you are asian (such as myself) then it's a bit difficult to not stand out as a tourist!

Back on topic, like the look of this 7, would prefer it to an A8 but truth be told, whilst not a Merc fan, I'd have to go for an S class or bg Jag if I was in the market for such a car.
