I've engaged you for as long as i am willing. Car control and semantics aside, lets sum up. 1) OP parked in a disabled space when he was not authorised to do so. 2) OP took it upon himself to decide that a 'disabled' person is defined as someone with a physical disability. 3) OP thinks he has more right to park somewhere he shouldn't;t over someone else, who possibly shouldn't 4) OP doesn't like the fact some people get help from the government for their motoring expenses. 5) OP got owned by a fat chick in Pyjamas

But you're ignoring my point; there are people who have issues who would benefit from the use of such spaces but aren't 'allowed' because they didn't meet a specific set of criteria and yet there are people who have use of such spaces but don't necessarily require them. For example, there are parents of kids with ADHD who have blue badges which quite frankly is absurd (speaking as someone whose brother was diagnosed with ADHD and prescribed ritalin as a child)

People with physical disabilities have fought hard for equality and the right to be treated like anyone else, then you get physically able people who have some sort of health issue and they can't wait to be labelled as 'disabled'. If they fought for equal tights then there shouldn't be ANY disabled spaces There are certainly a few (note the use of the words "a few" as opposed to "lots") of disabled people who demand equal rights until being treated like everyone else means they don't get their own way. Then they're the first to scream discrimination and demand preferential treatment.

We have a blue badge and get free tax in the window of one of cars. We are both physically fit and mentally (well one of us is) fit. The looks I get from people using disabled spaces are absolutely amazing. I sometimes almost feel like getting out and doing a few star jumps!
Of course if you look at the back of the badge you'll see a picture of my almost 4 year old son. Judgements are not always as easy as you would like to think. I've had a few comments made to me in the past which are soon retracted if I can be bothered to explain it to them.

There are some idiots on this thread.
This topic comes up every couple of months, and somehow always comes back to certain posters always posting about Blue Badges & Motability.
OP. You were in the wrong.
I really hope that some of you don't ever find out what it is to have a crippling disability.

I kind of understand what you are saying, but you dont use the blue badge priviledge without your son with you do you?. What made me think was when you said you had a few comments etc etc, surely when they see you help your son out of the vehicle, they should know why you have parked there?

That is probably the most colossally ish thing I have ever read on this website you absolute turd. People like you make my skin crawl.

Yes, here are plenty of office or desk jobs someone like that could do. As I posted in that very thread, I have a friend who lost a leg to cancer, and is currently working as a car audio fitter

OP, don't know why you wasted your time.
Park in one, don't park in one, we all make our choices dependent on the situation at the time.
I once parked at a Tesco Extra across 2 disabled bays horizontally, with only the staff cars and a couple of people in there at silly am in the morning.
OMG RELEASE THE MORAL HOUNDS.

OMG RELEASE THE MORAL HOUNDS. I did the same in McDonalds but sideways across 6 spaces Only because the carpark is disproportionate in size to the capacity of people that can fit in the McDonalds And it was 4am in the morning and I was on my way home from the club and CBA parking my car properly.

Sorry I meant DISABLED tax She clearly wasn't disabled either so maybe she was being ironic While reading the thread I was actually siding with you in terms of well fine theres a moral rule but it was probably very quite in the car park and even a disabled person parking next to you wouldnt cause them any extra grief in all honesty HOWEVER For you to say she "clearly wasnt disabled" is plain wrong - you have no idea what disability she has, what might be wrong with her, her life might be hell everyday then she sees a pillock like you parking in a disabled space and it probably drove her up the wall as you take your health for granted and then abuse the few advantages she does have. I really hate people who judge the fact that disabled people get a 200 pound benefit a month - these people struggle a lot and if they decide to spend that small benefit on a car then thats their choice. other people get different benefits like child credit etc you dont see people go around saying f sake that person got kids etc Don't judge people, they have a right just as much as you in every way if not more - I feel as our role in soceity it is our job to help people like that even if she had shouted abuse at you, a simple case of I am very sorry I shouldnt have done it and wont again would have probably made her very happy.
