Does this mean that it should have "soft close" doors?

The chap I know had a S320 '99 vintage, after the battery died (replaced with anew one) the electrics started playing up. The "soft close" doors had started working only when they wanted to... is there any hydraulics involved in this or is just plain electrics?

BTW, the power is quite astonishing for a two ton vehicle... and as someone mentioned the road presence is immense, the vehicle still to be built. All the Russian mafia, presidents of various countries have been driving them... This car will be in my memory for a long time to come...

How was it at the ring? I imagine the brakes were a little unhappy if you were going for it

I just love all old Mercs. This is my 1991 W126 done 15,000 miles. Just like a new one.
Do you get free Ferrero Rochet with the Ambassadorial barge - complete with flag poles, wonderful. Does this make you immune from tickets and fines?

I imagine things are busy at PHtowers but this is a classic case of the need for Double Shed. Had a mate when I was growing up who never had fewer than 2 (sometimes more) Rover P6s on his driveway. He got a 2200TC for £30 as an MOT failure (this was about 1980). Anyway, Double Shed, one to run, one to break to keep it on the road. What say Riggers?
