Dual carriage way splits into 3 lanes comming onto a roundabout. The roundabout also hase 3 lanes.
The person in the middle lane will almost always come into my lane ( the inside lane) and then look suprised when I beep.
Surely its lane for lane no?

Surely its lane for lane no? If it happens that often, then why dont you come to expect it?

Some people are dreadful on multi-lane roundabouts. My favourite example of wittery is when people won't let you out of your lane on the bigger roundabouts. Happened the other week, insecure little man in a poverty-spec white Audi A1.

Because a lot of people have no care for lane discipline and will choose the lane with no cars "because that means I'll get wherever it is I'm going faster". Happens to me at least a few times a week on my commute, perfect opportunity to make sure your horn still works.

Maybe the inside lane is for turning left only?
Why don't you link to the roundabout from Google Maps and tell us what road you are approaching from?
Edit: I've just realised by inside you meant the right-hand lane. If so, yeah thats pretty typical behaviour. Happens on one roundabout me all the time, but as they go around the move back to the middle lane to take their exit. So annoying as the lanes are clearly marked on the roundabout!!

They are too lazy to turn the steering wheel, have no idea of road positioning, and don't use their mirrors. Either hang back so they don't clout you, or get a nose ahead so they can see you're there and *have* to turn the wheel enough to stay in their lane - but be prepared to be beeped at for your troubles.
