Talking of resurrections, did anyone else notice Street Machine magazine is back. Used to buy it every month as a kid in the 80s.
That's cool. I used to get second-hand copies of Street Machine, Custom Car and Hod Rod and Custom magazines from an older guy who lived up the road from me. Loved all the 80s custom stuff.
thought that SM morphed into American Car World?

Hah.....love the fact they put Henry Hi-Rise on the cover all over again... laugh

I can remember buying the original issue 1 of SM back in 1978 or was it 1979?

The editor is a top bloke and used to head up American Car. Writes really well and the new SM is a good read.

I haven't seen big 50s Jags hot rodded, I think the Mark VII/VIII/IX would make a nice sled chopped and slammed, rear fenders widened, bumpers removed etc. For e.g.:

Was there a scene like this in the UK, I missed it?

Yes there are a number of sleds on the UK ranging from the tradition American Mercury's etc to those using brit cars as a basis

Nice colour and a spot on stance. Is it a steel '29 or a Yorkshire street rods body? Love it! More pics! I spend far too much time watching spuds garage and the like on YouTube....

Nice job. I'd have kept the original front fender lines and the vertical B-pillars.

Style is a bit too 'street roddy' for my tastes, but it looks reasonably well screwed together, and that paint does look nicely done.

Like the wagon roof insert, that's a nice detail.

Wow. All steel, even the wings (fenders!) according to the video. I've seen a couple of their videos before, they always seem to have some really professional looking cars for sale. I wish I had the space and the money, I could quite easily spend $200,000 looking at their inventory smile
