Sad news! I dare not think what the families are going through at this time. In the other thread on here, it was hinted that it may be Joe Macari. Any truth in that?!? It looked a good example aswell. Sad day!

Passenger compartment looks ok from the picture. I thought the Pagani was built tough due to its carbon Fibre Cell. RIP

I think there's a thread running on this already. Very sad news though.
The passenger escaped with only minor injuries, IIRC.

Sadly too many people die in a car crash each day, that it only becomes news when it something out of the ordinary. I think the roads may be a better place if everyone was forced to see the names of those who died or were seriously injured each day on the roads, then maybe they'd stop thinking it couldn't happen to me.

Very sad indeed but I must admit I thought the same thing, passenger walked away, car looked intact, what happened?

I don't agree. In a country of 62 million people, most of whom using the roads every day on countless millions of journeys, only a handful of people are killed each day. Homes and hospitals haven't got that safety record. The reason so may people think "it won't happen to me" is because statistically they're correct, by overwhelming odds.
