Up until recently. I have been running this as a daily driver for the last 3 years... This is the second Ram i have had. Before them i used to have Range Rovers, but got fed up with the constant unreliability of them.Yank pick-ups are virtually bullet proof. In all the time i have had mine the only thing i have fitted was a rad due to someone at work stoving it in. Ordered a new one from Rockauto.com and it came within three days.Other than that its just had a regular once a year service and thats it. On the open road its super comfortable and quiet and very relaxing on long journeys. I dont have a problem with it being left hand drive as i have driven many over the years. And for any real drivers then in the long term it wont be a problem for them either.I'm selling this one shortly. Only to be replaced by another.

BTW; if anyone reading this has a set of standard wheels for a 2007 F150, please get in touch; the one I bought has a God-awful set of chrome 22"s with low-profiles (see PH classifieds; it's the gold one with the bling dubs (I think that's what they're called on the street!)) You do make me laugh. Mad as a box of frogs Not really...I haven't had an F450/550/650 yet. And anyway, you're hardly one to talk, what with your stable of GM iron (and a Mercedes...)

What you really need is a black Camaro with yellow detail to go next to the yellow one. You could keep swapping them round and really confuse people ps says he with the BMW

I've had no problem with reliability myself until this year when I finally trashed the stock gearbox. Im beyond convinced, just need an insurance quote and man maths on fuel costs then im off to buy one hopefully!

I love Yank pickups, just got back from Vegas and I became a bit of a spotter, loving the F350 I saw jacked up so it needed steps, I love the way the Americans dont legislate it to death, they dont turn it into a you being a pariah, they way they think big, comfy and satisfying, they dont compromise like we have to and they get up in arms (litterally) if told to do so.
Ok, nobody needs a jacked up F350 but it looked great, however in the UK I suspect it may soon become a liability, the UK feels like Lilliput after a couple of weeks in the states, to me it felt very small and very very green after Nevada.
The fuel is an issue, somewhat mitigated if run on LPG, the size is always goign to be an issue as is the LHD but people manage, for me though, the main issue is they kind of look a bit wrong with a UK reg plate, parked outside Morrissons, it ruins the magic, it is like a Lion taken from the Serengeti and plonked in an enclosure that is too small for it somewhere outside Birmingham, plus people assume you are from a provincial town call yourself Tex, wear cowboy boots, listen to Elvis and live in a Bungalow you have called Gracelands.
A pickup looks so right parked in Death Valley, sun glinting off it, Mustangs look little in the US and even Minivans look right, put them in the UK they stick out too much, think only the Corvette manages to not have that strong whiff of Americana about it.
however, just do it, I love to see them, even if they look out of place and a bit daft.

Will be interesting how many times, if ever, they're used. I looked for a Lightning initially, they are great. I still think a good one in the right colour looks the dogs danglies. Not sure you're going to get it wheelieing (?) without a lot of attention from the performance fairies it's quite fun when the s/c starts going straight out the box though!
