I've just spotted this thread. What a ridiculously sad story! I cant imagine what the father is going through. It's great to see someone like icetea produce such an amazingly selfless gesture that would have brought both the family and Connor so much joy. It's one of those stories you just won't forget.
Whats your point? The person who has made a very generous offer of a car doesn't want to ellaborate on if they have taken him up on the offer. I read into his reply that they had, hence the fair play.
I'll admit I have had two cans of beer tonight, so you had better just ignore my drunken rambling!

Guys come on, I've said I've said I don't want to comment any more on that specific situation so there is no point in dragging it out or speculating. I've spoken to Connors family directly and they want to keep things quiet so that should be respected. They don't have either of my Lambos just now as BHP still have them. I have offered them an alternative of an f430 but they don't feel able to take it right now… that is an open ended offer and will be available at any time they want it, and if Connor feels up to it.
If anyone else has any charitable options that I can use my cars for then they are welcome to message me. If we can use them for something that will put a smile on someones face who deserves a break then thats certainly something I'm happy to look at.

Every time I open this thread, I'm afraid that I am about to read the sad inevitable conclusion that we all fear.
The bravery shown by this young man is wonderful.
The only good thing is that he has more wonderful memories from his short life, than some people manage in 70 years.
My heart, and prayers go to him and his family.

I'm sure he ain't the only kid out there in a similar situationIf anyone else has any charitable options that I can use my cars for then they are welcome to message me. I've always felt charity where you can do something is far better then raising cash
And this isn't the first time Ph has done something similar
Not sure if such a service already exists but....
Could we set up a 'request a ride in a supercar' type service whereby people involved in caring for unwell children could post their requests for a 'child supercar ride' etc on this forum stating what/where etc and PH members could then offer their services.
It really wouldn't take much to set up and I know that many people here would take much pleasure from giving a terminally ill child a passenger ride in the car of their dreams. Many of us here are lucky enough to own cars that are well beyond the reach of most people, lets share that with some deserving kids/parents.
Can we?
