RE: Audi RS5 Cabriolet video nasty
Discussion
Whoever approved the final edit of the video should be assessed.
They are trying to big up the sound of the car the whole way through the video, so why leave the 'moped or something?' comment in there? Our car sounds fantastic, but it might also sound like a 50cc moped.
Also, when the presenter says 'It's actually the sound of a new Audi' the other guy says 'Right, ok, well it's very impressive' but his face says 'I literally don't give a $#¥T'.

I'm surprised he then didn't add "ah, so it's one of the new Audi owned Ducati mopeds?"They are trying to big up the sound of the car the whole way through the video, so why leave the 'moped or something?' comment in there? Our car sounds fantastic, but it might also sound like a 50cc moped.

It needs a more deeper bass sound, as a V8 it sounds too high pitched and manufactured as if someone (who has never owned a V8) in R&D created it in a PC music application and programmed the ECU and designed the exhaust to match it. Not just this one but a lot of them these days, maybe it's all part of the EU regs for emissions that causes it, maybe not.

More to do with cam profile and crank angle I'd have thought - a high revving V8 is obviously going to sound raspier than a Yank rumbler with a 5500rpm redline.nathanmcauley121 said:

It doesn't even sound that good to me, needs a proper exhaust on there. Every part of that video is appaling, I don't know where to start, so I wont.
