RE: Peugeot's Onyx V8 supercar concept unveiled

Looks great, shame it'll never be built.
It annoys the crap out of me when these car designers announce these stunning and innovative cars and then do absolutely nothing with them. I get that they're a test bed and a chance for car companies to flex their creative muscles without the worry of trying to build them. It just seems a bit pointless though.
I swear that if I was president of the world, my second law (after banning fat women from wearing leggings) would be that if a car manufacturer showcases a new concept, then they must build at least 200.
It's like having a heavy foreplay session with a gorgeous girl, then just as things get good, she gets up and goes...

It's quite tame in comparrison to some of Peugeots previous concepts like the Quasar and Proxima, but I like it and I hope they put elements of the design into their road car range, it would be a massive improvement if they did.
Won't the copper trim go green after a while though? it must have been inspired by the rat rod scene and all those VWs with rusty bonnets.
I'll forgive the Diesel V8 for now.

Peugeot keep doing this, a supercar concept that will vanish off into never never land and never be seen again. You listed a few of other. I like this but clearly it will never fit into the Peugeot range, the styling may return in a less spectacle model. Copper on a 308 replacement!
Peugeot has never really build sports cars in way the Renault has in the past. The closet they get is through Simca's/Talbot, bought by them, links to Matra. All now long forgotten cars.
