That F1 featured heavily in the pictures of the McLaren tour in July.........

Just makes me realise the sheer scale of the gulf between the F1 and 12c. Choice wise its a no brainer, a generic software clone vs art created by a passionate designer.

I like this...I think it's modern, it's a fast car, I think it should be extroverted. It kind of reminds me of a Porsche 968 Clubsport type colour scheme, I like those too.

The extrovert style works well on extreme performance cars, probably better than the reserved, IMHO.

All that does is highlight to me how good the F1 still looks in any colour and how ste the 12c looks in comparison. If I were Mclaren, I'd try my hardest not to get the two cars in the same place to be honest. As the poster before said, it really does show the 12c up as the computer generated generic looking car it is.

I don't mind the 12C. I can't say I'm a big fan of the F1 colour scheme, I doesn't really work in my opinion.

It's good that people are being different with their vehicle's looks though.
