RE: PH breaks World Record with Ferrari
Discussion
Good effort but there is a way to go for the outright World Record, we set up 5063 Minis around Silverstone in 1989, they were 4-5 abreast and almost bumper to bumper around the entire circuit.

Well, plus the exclusive hire of Silverstone for three days, staffing, TV helicopter, emergency services, event insurance, circuit marshals, a lot of Ferrari-owned vehicles transported, 1400 free tickets for PHers, catering, logistical teams, stand building, car park attendants etc, etc.
I know, but somehow they still seem to come off as being cheap. They do a hell of a lot for Italian causes, seems they could have dug slightly deeper. Or maybe I'm just a grouch. Was great fun, enjoyed it far more than I thought I would!
I must have been near you on the grid Garlick. I was in the same row as VBH, met her a few times now. She was as friendly, chatty and charming as ever!
Thought the dude from Radio Silverstone really helped make it fun as well.
Massa was so happy at being at front of grid for a change he took a picture on his phone...

Does anyone have any news on the condition of Giorgio Raffaeli please, who crashed heavily at the start of the Becketts complex on Sunday afternoon? Big impact, with him being taken away by ambulance. Can't find anything via the normal channels, such as Autosport. Fingers crossed for positive news. Thanks.

My Italian is a bit crap but I think he is in a medically induced coma with non life threatening injuries based on this link below. Having seen his car on the back of a truck I would say that is a lucky escape. It must have been a heavy impact.http://inagist.com/all/247409839653928960/

Might be an idea to keep going for the future. Everyone gets in for free and has a good morning, I don't think there'd be too much objection to (optionally) monetizing that good will in the aim of raising money for charity
