I think £2400 is great, well done PH. I would gladly pay a tenner per adult for future events, if it went to worthy causes like Mission Motorsports.

p.s. I am highly tickled that, given the exotica that was in the PH compound, the video still in the Youtube screen capture above is of my humble VW. biggrin

Amazing to see so many Ferrari on the M40 on the way there, I started counting, got to 30, Ferrari and one lonely TVR Chimaera( a dark blue grubby one) between junction 12 & 10 hooning down the fast lane heading north.
Was that you?

Saw the most gorgeous 458 in a deep metallic cherry red give it the beans from the toll coming towards the M42 and drove down the M40 so I assumed he was going to this event.

What a car and the noise it made oh my the noise, I felt like a 6 year old following that car for a few miles.*

  • Apologies if the Ferrarri owner sees this and wonders why a grinning buffoon kept crawling alongside your car I was just admiring what is possibly the most beautiful Ferrari I have ever seen.

Aha! So that explains why there were so many Ferraris on M40 on Sunday!!

Say loads early in the morning heading to Brum and loads more in the evening on the way home!

I got to enjoy some of this lot blasting back towards London on the M40 on Saturday evening. Stopped counting at 20 of them. Never seen so many Ferraris on the road at any time. Windows down, stereo off, to repeated remarks of "child" from the other half. biggrin
I wondered about that when they took them off the track and sent them straight on to the perimetre road. Must have been an ace journey home. i joined the exit bit as far as the A43 in a manky old pickup. Must have spoiled a few photos!

Good effort but there is a way to go for the outright World Record, we set up 5063 Minis around Silverstone in 1989, they were 4-5 abreast and almost bumper to bumper around the entire circuit.
