I think that looks absolutely stunning. Hints of Ginetta F400/Farbio GTS in the side profile, which I like.

Seem to have taken the criticism that the MPC-12 styling was dull a bit too far and gone from one extreme to the other imo

Looks alright I guess, but something about these new mclarens just doesn't do it for me... The shapes are just too generic, and the detail is used totry and keep it interesting I think... Comes across as boring to me. Sure it'll look much more dramatic in the flesh.

Actually they're correct. If you look on the main photo, they have an orange underside arm and a black mirror, which when you compare it to the reverse, is correct

It didn't matter what McLaren did with this, some people are always going to hate it, some love it and others won't give a toss what it looks like as long as it performs.

That is one of the most purposeful looking rear ends I've seen on a car in a long time. Make no mistake; it is going to be epically fast! No, it doesn’t look like a McLaren F1, and you know what, I’m glad too! The McLaren F1 was the pinnacle of what car design and technology was when it was built, and now we’ve long since surpassed it, which is no wonder it look so different. This will have been designed, styled and built using the most up to date technology available using materials that are so much more advanced than anything in a McLaren F1 (I obviously have nothing to back that up with, but think how far we’ve come in F1 over the past decade).

I’m glad they’ve put so much effort into it and glad it looks the way it does. It’s not too over the top nor is it too subtle. I’d like to see some proper images of it though, to see the actual proportions and other angles, rather than a rendering, but we’ll get that in a few days. All in all, from those “limited” images, I’d say a success, well done McLaren
