I do like reading some of the rather ill informed opinion on here. People who have either never driven or driven once, spouting their knowledge on these cars.
I have driven many nsx's including and nsx-r and have regularly got them in our workshop for maintenance.
I have also driven plenty of ferraris, porsches etc etc.
The nsx, whilst not the most powerful of machines, will most definitely embarrass most early 90's supercars in the performance and handling department. It will 100% obliterate all 90's supercars on maintenance costs.
And for daily driveability, second to none.
One of my customers owns porsches and ferraris, but uses the NSX as his daily, as its the most comfortable, the most reliable, and the easiest car to drive.
I am selling my 96 car very soon, and it will be with a heavy heart, as it is truly a joy to drive.

Spot on. It is the only 'factory' pearl white car in the UK. The other one is na1 and wrapped.

Cheers.

Man, that white/red is going to worth a pretty penny some day far in to the future!
It's already worth a pretty penny now! I reckon you'd need £75k+ to persuade the owner to part with it...
Earlier today I was going to come on here and post that there is more than one. Then on close inspection I realised it was the one that had just driven past me! Not sold on pearl TBH, but it's a very nice car nonetheless.

Really? The last 12 cars ordered into the UK had the option of colour combos that were never offered - the pearl white (as opposed to Championship or Grand Prix white) and red interior combo of Nigel's car are (AFAIK) unique:

Yeah I know all about the final 12cars, but there is another lol

Championship white was only offered on NSX-R.

Have a search through my posts on the forum, you will see the other white facelift car.

I know of another white car, but it wasn't pearl white.

Cheers.

for the price they were asking, it simply couldn't keep up with the competition.

Like I said it's a shame as I love the way it looks and of course it was far better screwed together than most other performance cars.

Yes there is also an 04 grandprix white NSX which was owned by the same person as the pearl white one, but there is still another lol

No offence, but if you get a chance, read the rest of the thread.

Cheers.

When did the 911 get eight pots?

As for not keeping up? With what?

I'm not ruling it out, but I've been on NSXCB for over seven years and never seen it. Care to enlighten.

are we debating the success of the car on it's commercial performance or the technology and engineering behind it's construction?

Because with regards to the latter is was a triumph, but the former? A flop.

By your logic a Toyota Corolla would beat all-comers........
