Mental - you've got to love the idea. Hope they can keep it on the ground.

I'm a Luddite.
This car is bks, give me a standard 1M everytime - the rest of the money I'd spend on Budweiser. And porn 👍

Ah, you must be new here.
The rest of the money is to be spent on coke and hookers. Not Budweiser and Porn.
Who in their right mind would pay for either?

How much does the v8 weigh compared to the I6? I wonder how balanced it feels compared to the standard 1.

0-62 in only 4.4?

With 600bhp i'd be dissappointed
Who actually does a 0-60 run, ever? The in-gear performance of this will be incredible.
me at the 20-30 traffic lights i stop at every day, often with launch control, breaks up the boredom smile

i'd personally prefer just the normal NA 4.0 V8......though may change my mind if i drove it!

that's mental biggrin
Completely agree, a 1M with the NA V8 would be great, what this does prove is that the V8 fits.

No 1M's were hurt in the making, as that creation wasn't a 1M to begin with! biggrin

The interior would be better off without the skidmarks all over the seats.

what a ridiculous and utterly pointless car! I suppose that makes it 'cool' but seriously - a standard 1M coupe does 0-60 in 4.6sec and has similar torque to this crazy supercharged v8, with a simple remap or bigger turbos and a remap I reckon it would be faster than the g-power car!

What does a stock 1M manage 0-125 in?
Hi Jonny,

Autocar timed their 1M at 16.6 seconds to 120 and 20.5 seconds to 130 so seeing as there was no gearchange in-between, I reckon it would be about 18.5ish with 2 people and a full tank
Ok, thanks, so in fact 12.5 secs is quite a major improvement in performance that is masked by the 0-60 time.

It must be said though that 0-60 in 4.4 sounds pathetic for something that size with 600bhp. Ok, I realise traction is relevant, but didn't TG get a bog-standard RS3 to 60 in 3.8?

the 0-62 does sound slow, but that means a 0-60 of around 4.2 and after 60 this thing must go on and on like a missle. Remember this is RWD not 4WD and to get 600bhp to bite with ultra low profile tyres is no joke. So no point comparing this to boring Audi's or the daddy that is the Nissan GTR, all different beasts.

mental mental car, I cant help but love it!

"Whilst I wholeheartedly applaud the lunacy of this I have to say that on the whole all of the performance figures are dissapointing".

So,0-125 the same as the best supercars and a 200+mph top speed, from a small coupe with 4 seats, what ,prey, is disapointing in that FFS?...Some people...............
