but despite the years of marketing spin and engineering finesse you can't avoid the fact that it still has too much weight at the back.
And despite the number of races it has won over an incredibly long period? The results speak for themselves, the 911 design isn't flawed, it is just different.zebedee said:

The first mass-produced British car in years (with the possible exception of the Morgan Aero 8) that carries the spirit of TVR. Big curvy V8 roadster with RWD. I hope the traction control has an 'off' setting.
Nice to see a rally-style push-pull sequential manual gearbox with the lever in the 'proper' place too.
The only drawback is the price. I was hoping the base model variant would be about £10k cheaper than that. Still, it's going to sell like crazy all over the world, I reckon.

Jeez, Just configured a replacement for the C63....over £90k.....no thanks Jaguar...
I'll buy a used GT3 RS or Gallardo instead.....
Ha, the new v used chestnut on a car that hasn't even been released yet. Utterly pointless. And two cars mentioned that have no relevance whatsoever to an F Type.I'll buy a used GT3 RS or Gallardo instead.....
Just leave the point that £90k does seem a hell of a lot for an F Type, which does seem true.
