I have to say this is by far the most compelling of your videos so far. Norbert Singer seems like a guy that you could listen to his stories for hours.. A hugely interesting guy.

I guess your next stop should be an 80's Turbo era F1 car.. McLaren MP4 perhaps? (If you haven't already of course smile )

I admit i didn't even know what a 962 was until now. Performance is staggering for something from 1987. Thanks for the video.

Great video. Brings back memories of doing 20 x 16 prints and 10 x 8 press runs of these when I used to work (indirectly) for Rothmans Honda.

Don't know why, but the 962 has always been my favourite Le Mans car, more so than the 956, 917, 935 and the Sauber-Mercs. And it certainly still is after this vid!

Love the 962! What a great bloke as well.

Nearly had kittens when I saw one at the Malton charity meet (in their showroom) last year.

It's been said before but I think Mr Harris probably does have the best job in the world.

Yes. Yes. Yes. And, yes.

The livery. The shape. The wastegate chatter.

Bloomin' brilliant that you get these opportunities, and even better that you are willing to share them with us all.

Bravo, Sir.

When the 956 burst on to the scene in '82, it made a very big impression on a 7 year old me. Great video, awesome sound, iconic car and Singer is a legend.

Must rush of to the dvd collection, and find my copy of 'In car 956', if you want to experience 240mph at Le Mans, get a copy, turn it up and enjoy.

Utterly fascinating video and I could listen to Singer for hours talking about car setup and how things were done back then.

Lovely livery too, is it just me that misses cigarette advertising in racing cars
Definitely! Prefer a Silk Cut Jag myself..

Norbert Singer. I'd never heard of him before but clearly a brilliant and engaging man. You can see how he'd make a great teacher and without doubt he'll be the coolest lecturer at the university.

Jebus, that looks like an exhilarating thing to do with your day.

Well done for reaching a point where you get to do such things and get paid for it Mr Harris.

I swear this man just thinks up what 30+ odd year old men fantasize about, then goes and does exactly

that. As if drifting Harry Metcalfs Countach up a hairpin left on a Welch mountain road wasn't enough,

now this... Keep doing what your doing cos your very good at it!
