we're getting one of these or the pug 208 gti..... the ds3 looks like a hash job on the roof imo, and the pug interior is for teenagers.
probably chose the ds3 and refrain from rolling the roof back beyond the rear 'window'. a pity really as the true convertible version of the ds3 was binned but looks much better imo.

or with 'fins':

These images were never going to happen, the shark fin was too dangerous and the loss of the DS shape would of been a no-no. So Citroen never intended to do a full convertible.

I think this is a cracker of a car. It's the ONLY convertible on the market that WILL SEAT 5 PEOPLE. Sure, rear legroom won't be great, but all the other big lumping convertibles like the Volvo and the Audi and all the rest have only 4 seats. I don't know why Citroen isn't making more noise about this.

I have a wife and 3 children. Now even I can buy a convertible!

I wonder if they'll do the same treatment to the DS4? I hope so.

probably just satisfying the market! Most people who have a convertible put all the side windows up and fit a wind deflector.. A pet hate of mine!!! Most only need a big sunroof...

I've got a Pluriel but the DS3 could never replace it. The genius of the Pluriel is, as the name suggests, its versatility. I've used it as a pick up truck to bring home a bed and many other large objects. Part of that has to do with the hatch being split, and the rear window sliding underneath the luggage compartment. Instead of honing the briliant Pluriel concept they come out with this - mainstream and boring.

The 2CV had the same type of folding roof from 1948, the Pluriel and this DS3 cab. are just modern versions of the original.

Looks like a Fisher Price toy. It will probably sell millions.
