More rallying exploits. 10 mins of pure magic. IMHO obviously. Some might say I'm biased......but

I like the soundtrack, I think it adds to the enjoyment of the video, it kind of fits with it.

My fave bit of motorsport footage & +1 for the soundtrack! You can't beat a bit of Verdamp lang her by Bap. It's actually a pretty emotional song as the guys singing about his dead father - title translates into "it's been a while". Love the bit as it moves up tempo and the cars start to weave - it's our soundtrack for going to Le Mans!

If I ruled the world, uploading car and motorsport video's with music would be against the law.

Some fantastic driving there, hairy balls stuff.

Great video, and one I have enjoyed before! The music is quite fitting too, great tune.

As for car videos with great music, this has to be my favourite:

Plenty of Lancia Delta Integrales and Delta S4's going sideways, from the time when the Lancia Delta Integrale was my favourite car in the world! Great footage and ice-cool Italian pop on top.

Of course, most car videos don't get it so right as these too, instead layering on awful 'dubstep' with some jaunty camera angles in an effort to look edgy.

Great video.

The sense of speed is incredible, especially when compared to the way other motor sports seems to be diluted by a television camera.
it should be noted that quite a bit of that footage is actually speeded up a bit (as well as the vast amount that is slowed down too ;-)

As the soundtrack, i liked it............. In a period and authentic kinda fashion, rather than a "go immediately to iTunes and buy the entire back catalogue" way!

I have had this on my youtube favorites list for ages! It used to have a great sound track, not this German 80's rock rubbish.

Very well edited i must say.

It's J. Ruch's Ford Mustang. Awesome car!
Didn't fit the rules at all, but the ITR allowed it in because the fans loved it. Gerd Ruch and his brother Jorg had two, then Jurgen Feucht had the black 'Buffalo Boots' car.

Great video. Look at all the tracks they went to like the Nordschleiffe, Norisring, Avus, Diepholz airfield. Evocative colourschemes like Sonax, Tabac, Diebels Alt, Jagermeister. Then drivers like Schneider, Ludwig, Ravaglia, Biela, Lohr, Cecotto and my favorite Smokin Jo Winkelhock. I like the big Audi V8 Quattros, really big and cumbersome compared to the BMWs and Mercs, but still able to win titles. It went downhill after the ITC came in and the cars became more like silhouette racers and then it folded.

The DTM died when the Mustang disappeared from the back end of the grid.

Fantastic era of motorsport, so exciting to watch, hard to pick a favourite as all the cars looked stunning; also, i think this was the best era of motorsport for such iconic race liveries.

Incredible motorsport era, I love it. I've seen this video before, it's fantastic, the period soundtrack is ace too. Today's DTM might not be as exciting as it was then, but it's a lot more exciting than BTCC - the cars and the tracks are much, much better than the dull British version.

Those 3.6 litre V8 quattros ran a flat-plane crank allowing them to rev to 9500 rpm to produce 440 bhp. There was pretty exotic technology going on in late '80's DTM.

It's not all that staggering. Don't forget that there were 3.5L V8s in the same era that ran to about 13,000RPM (Ford HB engine, made by Cosworth).

Still doesn't detract from the DTM cars being awesome though.

I'm sure I heard him mention John Steinbeck at one point.
