F750 ordered.
And fitted today, would agree with most of the comments in the reviews. I've ordered new sticky pads as the Grey ones are too obvious, and will be looking at getting a right angle conversion for the rear camera cable so that it can be tucked away a bit better. Both camera's feel good quality, although the front unit is a little larger than I would have liked. Picture quality is more than acceptable and certainly better than both of my Blackvue camera's.

The rear camera has a Blue LED which you can't turn off, easily sorted with a piece of tape.

Overall very pleased, WiFi seems to work well and quite snappy at connecting to the phone. Quite impressed with the app (IOS), all settings easily accessed, can view/download footage.

No, but the ones it does have are actually useful.

Just bought myself a Transcend drivepro 200 after looking around for a dashcam for the past few weeks. Decided on the Transcend after all the praise Autoexpress give it.

First impressions are very good. Was very easy to set up, even the Wi-Fi feature which means it can connect with my phone. Where I then can, watch a live stream and review any footage. Night time quality is also very good.
Watch a live stream !!!!

It's pretty damn amazing. My gf no longer needs to look out the window to see where we're going. She just sits there looking at her phone.

I've been wanting a dash cam for a bit, but the seemingly random quality of cameras put me off but I spotted one recently that I thought looked good, the Thinkware F750, its been in the car since the weekend and its spot on.
Only problems so far have been the dash cam viewer software doesn't work on my computer (a Mac even though the website shows the software running on an iMac) the phone app works well and I can do anything that the computer software does on that so its not too much of a problem.
I've bought a second one for the other car too.
Are you using the speed camera option?

I've downloaded the latest file from Thinkware and installed as per the instructions, but the camera is still showing the file as 15.08.12.03, which I'm assuming is 12th Aug 2015, the file downloaded and installed was called 07-09-2015.

Looks like the database is supplied by Cyclops

I have all the speed camera, lane departure and all other audible warnings turned off, its just recording in mine, I fitted my other car with one a well but used the dual camera version, I'll have to check what software version mine are, not sure off hand.

Ok thanks.

looks like the database should be pretty good, but there's one section in my village where I'm getting a ping for a mobile camera every 100ft or so, I've lived there 30 years and I've never seen one.

My Mini 805 had started to play up for the last two weeks, switching itself off for no reason, turned out the SD card was borked so it's recording to the internal memory at the moment instead and is working absolutely fine. I was a bit surprised that a dodgy card would cause that symptom so it might be worth keeping in mind in case something similar happens for anyone else.

Hi, does anyone have a Nextbase 402G?

If so, have there been problems linking to Google Maps? The settings are on default and my unit was exchanged today from the previous one last week which has forever failed to link to Google Maps.

Playback not showing that. Rest of tools are fine.

Any comments would be welcome.

Decided to take the plunge and get one. I was set on the Transcend 200, but then saw the Autovox B40 wedge and thought it was really unobtrusive and could probably be left in the car. The only issue is that online reviews don't seem so go good where reliability is concerned. Anybody had one of these long term who can comment.

I had 2 B40/A118 cameras which I guess are just unbranded versions. They both stopped working within a few weeks which is a shame as the design is really good.

I was considering the 200 but it does look rather ungainly, I think I'll end up with Mobius cameras with the lens extension for a really stealth install.

I decided the Transcend was just too obvious and have bought a mini 806. You do have to have a search around for the latest version that comes with the micro filter included, but found one on Amazon.

Does anyone have any pics of their cameras fitted? I'm in the market for one but want it to be as discrete as possible. Thanks.

Blackvue, not the most discrete option but probably one of the better ones looks wise.

I've fitted mine in two cars so far, one is quite inconspicuous, one... not so.
Both photos were in the garage and very well lit so making them very noticeable.

I'm going to reposition the one in the M4 so it wont be that bad for long.

Right gentleman.

So after the 4th time of someone hitting my parked car and not leaving a note. I'm in need of a good camera that's only use is going to be for when I'm parked up. Not to bothered about when driving, just want a good one that can record for 8 hours whilst I'm away from the car at work.

Anyone got something they can direct me too?
