This. Buy an established camera from another supplier, their customer service is appalling.

Has anyone tried out the Mini 0826 yet? It looks like an 0806 in a bigger case (for future battery). I've seen a few unboxing reviews but not any 'in action' and comparison reviews?

We have an 0805 in each car, I want to move them to the rear window and add something new to the front.

Does anyone have any pics of their cameras fitted? I'm in the market for one but want it to be as discrete as possible. Thanks.
Here are pics of 2 of ours (both Mini 0801s), shown from outside in real-world conditions, i.e. with reflections, I'm guessing you want to know how invisible they are.
The bottom one is in a car with a shaded band across the top of the screen, and that's ideal for providing some more cover for it. You can stick the pad on the shaded bit, so that the lens just looks under the shaded strip, and having the top of the recorded picture shaded helps to correct the dark image when you drive towards the sun.
The top picture is in a car with no shaded strip, the sticky pad is visible, but you do have to look for it (the obvious blackened area in the middle is the mirror, not the camera) and it's best to cover up the white writing on the camera with black tape.
Note that in a car like a recent Fiesta or Mazda2 the passenger side wiper arm isn't long enough to allow a high positioning, so the camera becomes more obvious, worth checking and operating the wash/wipe just before you stick it biglaugh .
As I've said before, the Mini 0801 works for us, it's a great compromise between cost, ease of installation, quality of the resulting picture and neatness once fitted. The picture colour is sometimes a bit washed-out, but I'm not complaining for around £70.

Transcend 200 came up on Amazon Black Friday week (Prime members only) for £59... may well pop up again during the week.

With regards to the shear amout of users of the Mobius camera's Dashcam use is quite small, take a look at these threads on RcGroups.

Also lots of good info here (not just Mobius) but all Dashcams.

https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/categories/mobius-se...

I've spent way too much time looking into Dashcams and I'am convinced the Mobiuis is one of the best available.

Please fully check them out.

I'm seriously looking at a dash cam following a recent accident where the person who hit me and wrote my car off is now trying to blame me. Grr.

I'm thinking of a Transcend 200, but it looks very large, especially with the dangly mount.

Has anyone got any pictures of one fitted in their screen?

I really want something I can leave in all the time and which doesn't look too obvious and like the specs and reviews of the Transcend but just worry that it's going to annoy me constantly.

It's such a shame to read of so many folk investing in one of these after having had an accident.

A friend has got a Transcend and seeing it in the car put me off buying one. It's very obvious when you look through the windscreen. I went for a mini 0806. Tiny and nearly invisible. There's a few comments about reliability on line, but mine has been faultless and the it's very easy to install

Here's mine in my 3 series, has been in the car for 18 months and can't fault it. My other half has the 220 in her C-Class and that's equally as good.

That's really helpful particularly as my replacement is a E90. That doesn't look bad at all.
Thanks for that.

No probs, from the driver's seat you don't notice it.

Typical, after singing the praises of the DrivePro 200, mine packed up yesterday. It generates a long continuous bleep and the power light has changed from red to mauve, plugged it into my laptop and updated the firmware and all looked good but it's certainly not right.

Anyhow, it lasted 2 years and 2 months of every day use, much longer than I'd realised. So will be replacing it with another, probably the DP220 when Camelcamelcamel sends me a notification that it's dropped down to the price that I bought the other half's one.

So I bought a replacement DrivePro 220 on Black Friday and it transpires there's nothing wrong with my 200 other than it doesn't seem to like the 64gb card that's in it anymore. So I've replaced the 16gb card and all's well, and now I've now got a spare dash cam.

The mobius looks too big for me and would be in eye line of my passenger which would be annoying for them. Looks like my mini 0801 might be going in, even though it will be in their eye line is it less conspicuous
