All that jazz said:
When did you do the last software update? Interestingly, mine has started doing the same and it only seems to have happened since I last had it hooked up to my PC where I will have done a software update at the same time. I've not used mine for a few months now as I haven't gotten round to looking into it. I've used the same Sansung XHS1 card in mine since I got it and it's performed near flawlessly for 2.5 years now so something is amiss. scratchchin
In case anyone comes across this thread in the future, I solved the loop on problem with the mobius by changing the video file type from MP4 to MOV.

For some reason MOV loop records fine whereas MP4 just fills up the card and stops.

To carry on the positive feedback for Combi, I bought my mini 0805 from them, arrived within a couple of days as they stated, and so far the support at the end of the phone has been superbsmile

I also bought from Combo. Very happy with them.
For power on my newer car it plugs into the OBDII port.
In the old barge I bought a 3m fag lighter lead and routed it round under the dash etc.

I'm sure this has been mentioned already, but I'd really recommend watching the Techmoan video reviews, I've learnt more on there than in the instruction manual for the 0805!

Happy new year dash cammers!

I've got my MOT at the end of the month and was wondering what people have been doing, is it ok to leave it in? I've got a mobius that sits directly behind the mirror, only a very small part of the mount can be seen above the mirror from the driver's seat. Usually I'd take it out but this one is stuck in with an adhesive pad so I'd rather not move it!

Haha, perhaps take it to your local Chinese takeaway instead of the chip-shop, preferably in the early evening when they're not busy.

Seriously I can help, I know some limited Chinese, can you post a picture of the first menu screen, with enough quality resolution to decipher the characters, (if it works like mine) and I'll try to tell you which option you need... if there are several sub-menus then this could take a while!

That's good of you. Not easy to photograph,(with my camera Skillz!) but try these, thanks.

Good idea, one problem, I don't have (& have never had) a phone!

Ref the Chinese pics, the language setting is the last one on the second picture (green one).

The others are:
Pic 1 line 1 (black) = settings
line 2 = brightness
line 3 = light
line 4 = colour
line 5 = refresh rate
line 6 = timestamp

pic 2: line 1 = settings
line 2 = refresh
line 3 = timestamp
line 4 = audio
line 5 = switch recording
line 6 = language

So please select "language" and send the next picture! With luck the "English" option will display in English, but if it doesn't than I can tell you which one it is.

Thank you so much! English was in English so back to something I can understand.

Once again Thanks a lot.

Rather than risking damaging my car I opted for using a flat usb cable such as this one. it was easy enough to slide this into the headlining and down the door rubbers of the A pillar and into the glove box for power. It was so easy and invisible that I ran a second to where I have my phone mounted.

Morning all, was it this thread which had a "fit and forget" camera option for bikes? If so can anyone point me at it please? Seem to recall some sort of bullet cam which fitted under the front fairing, all but invisible so you don't have to remove every time you park up.

Thanks, I'll look that one up. Was for commuting, not TDs, I don't really want to have Teletubby Head syndrome but I do think that having a record will unfortunately probably turn out to be useful one day.
