That's a sensible, bargain vehicle and as such has no place on this thread of awesomeness. Shame on you.GranCab said:
In terms of everything subjective this wipes the floor with this weeks SOTW Range Rover. It'll be better in nearly every respect. And given the choice I would take the Range Rover, every time.
I've always loved the looks of the 2 door. I have a 1981 2 door 3.5 which is awesome off road and for lugging around by drum kit but lacks the comfort of these. The perfect solution is therefore a CSK - a limited run of 200 luxury 2 doors in 1990 built to celebrate 20 years of the Rangie.

Rust, problematic electrics, dodgy air suspension, slipped liners... What's not to love about them
Most, in fact almost all Classics don't have air suspension. Slipped liners is not normally an issue with the 3.5/3.9 (and 4.2) RV8's. Thats much more of an issue with the newer 4.0 and 4.6 variants found in the p38a and D2.Trommel said:

Classic is a better car though IMO.
Objectively, a fully-working P38 is miles better.Zircon said:
The classic RR is indeed a nice car and exceptionally good at offroading for a luxo-4x4.
However, compared to the rugged Defender, you would be constantly worried about scraping your colour coded bumpers or scraping your shiny alloy wheels on a rock.
lol, but no not really. As some RR's came on steel wheels and you can fit most steel wheels to an RR if you want to swap them. As for bumpers, well they where only colour coded if you had a black Range Rover However, compared to the rugged Defender, you would be constantly worried about scraping your colour coded bumpers or scraping your shiny alloy wheels on a rock.
