Or on a more realsitic budget.

This.

It's bloody lovely, but £17k for a mini isn't a realistic budget for a sensible car. That's 30 Pumas!

Bit tricky to track it with no keys though.

Set? It's a convertible, you only need an ignition key.

We're just in the process of doing the "baby wagon" thing and have sold the Mini to get an A4 Avant. Hopefully that's as big as we'll need to go. Someone did mention putting an isofix base into my M3, but I can't see it myself winkbiggrin

Crikey, these seem ridunkulously good value these days. That's what I paid for my 172 years ago!

Just catching up with Ford's Dagenham Dreams. Recorded it the other evening, it was on after the History of the Sportscar programme.

Anyone else see it?

£5k is crazy. Especially as the new one has a spazzy gearbox, 5 doors and a turbo engine!

But it looks positively expensive when compared to this:

The Best Engine in the World (tm) with 88k on the clock and the perfect red/tan combo, for.....

£650.

Six hundred and fifty of your earth Pounds.

Wowzer.

I hate agreeing with GP, but he is right.

My wife and child have a new car, with a good safety rating which will have winter tyres on.

I can afford it, and wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror had they been in an accident in the Fusion or ZX.

It also gives me brownie points. Which is nice.

£650?!?!?

That would buy not a lot of cocaine/hookers but would (hopefully) last a hell of a lot longer....
