I'm more than happy to criticise the Clio, but imo the interior is actually pretty darn good. Yes there are flaky bits, but on the whole, much of it is better than I've experienced in supposedly more upmarket makes. I like the indicators as well - thought they were odd at first but actually they're just the right size to be in perfect reach from the wheel.
My opinion is entirely subjective, and had I driven it, I'm sure those things i mentioned would entirely fade into indifference. The dash is a nice shape. Whats it like to run?
Well the Boxster is a bit leggy/borky/boozy for me these days and I would like something with the capacity for a bike/people. Coupled with an urge to fulfil a quarter-life crisis by returning to French hatches that I begun with, I am posed with one car and two choices, Hmm:

http://classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/use... Will need more pennies to get the shocks seen to on a leggy one of these.

We're just in the process of doing the "baby wagon" thing and have sold the Mini to get an A4 Avant. Hopefully that's as big as we'll need to go. Someone did mention putting an isofix base into my M3, but I can't see it myself
It all comes down to buggy choice, really. There is one choice that is head and shoulders above the rest for being compact and easy to live with but I won't pollute the thread with any more baby stuff, so email me if you want more detail from a stranger on the internet Aizle said:

Based on time of posting, were you terribly, terribly drunk? There is nothing appealing about that. If you have a covert hankering for a W210, why not for a decent one?I bought my Corrado VR6 from a dealer on that plot back in 1999 - it was part of TFL then (not Transport for London, but mainly a Ford dealer in Putney and Wimbledon). They had a few Corrados for sale at the time from that site. They managed to put different front and rear reg plates on it, and when I turned up to collect it the speakers weren't working so I had to wait a couple of hours while their electrician fixed it. Shonky even in a previous life.

I stop off for a nose around every so often, but their stock always seems as if it should carry a health warning. Kind of odd, given their pitch. Stock has thinned since the sales office was closed a few weeks ago though. The dealer a short stroll away down New Kings Rd (under the arches) usually have some nice Germans in the showroom too, especially 124 cabrios.

Indeed. Harringtons seem to survive on a business model that basically revolves around selling slightly over-priced german hatchbacks to local yummy mummys through the judicious application of Irish charm. But they do get some interesting stuff in. I bought a string of cars from them in the early 2000s - an Alfa GTV, an e30 cab, a Jeep Cherokee and then the e36 328i. Happy days...

Where do you work? I know that aircraft on the far right. It's a Global express and the paint on the tail s flip paint. It's not Luton..... Hmmm..
Gotta love car spotting on the m25.
Stuck in traffic returning from gatwick, look to my left and there is a pristine Merc 190 cosworth evo II.
Quite a daily commuter!

Yeah I work on private stuff. We have 3 aircraft based there but parked over with signature in the old Gulfstream hangars.
Are you blue, orange or the ones with a crown?

Thought it was an e30 m3 to start with. (was dark!) but the huge rear wing gave it away. Number plate was apt. E19 EVO.

I can't say, it would be too easy.
Right... I need a quick sense check please.

Make it right.
Might make a nice winter project...
But do I really want / need a small engined pram? With a house move coming up, do I really want a "project"?
Quick text request to Mrs G for "go ahead" came back with, basically, "up to you, but fine by me".
Hmmmm....
