The geo on the 911 reps is to photograph, not drive.....the guy suggests geo is from '88 pirelli championship car....but on the road, with assumed road springs and road tyres is that likely to be effective?.....From my own experience with these cars, I fear it will look better than it drives.
Indeed, would need raising and sorting geo etc but I don't see that as an issue. I doubt I'd find any modified 911 that would be set-up as to how I'd want it so would end up ammending accordingly on any car.V8mate said:

pm'd - don't want to fill The Thread up with e36 bits!
I reckon between Ferry, you, Zwolf and me, we could start an E36 breakers. Graham just needs to get to the point where he acknowledges that he's driving a breaker around, and then his car can join the stock too.Zwolf said:

An awful lot of people are breaking them for buttons on e36coupe.com and a fair proportion of them are left with half broken eyesores on their parent's driveways.Erm, who's got the mega strength brave pills to hand?

Still want that GT3 Daz?
I'll wager it'll be mega.People may at this stage like to go on to the next post rather than listen to the confused witterings of an excited idiot.
I've gone from being very anti PDK (almost as much as cmoose), to having concerns that a butchered PDK boxed "manual" 7 speed version will end up like the E60 M5 manual in the US. Crap, A bodge. The car has been designed to run PDK.
Sept 2012 and I'm away on Megahoon in Italy. A good mate was on the trip in a very well set up M3CSL. Which I "piloted" for 20 miles through a private test facility that had an appearance similar to the Abruzzo national park mountains in central Italy.... Having previously driven my brother's E60 M5 for 4k miles, I had no problem using SMG in the CSL, especially on a charge. Staggeringly good fun. When I got out of the CSL, I wanted one and then I thought, imagine the 991GT3, similar weight, an extra 90 BHP, PCCB, PDK which works both on a charge AND in auto mode in traffic. Tbh as a road car for Hooning around Europe it sounds perfect. I know it's not a Mezger and it's not a manual but so what, I'm sure it'll drive superbly. I've already had a Mezger engine let go, so I don't hold them out as having the indestructability or hold them in such hallowed reverence as some people appear to. I'm keeping the 996TT with it's 4WD, manual, road suspension, steel brakes, 4 seats, sunroof and going to also have a contrasting 991GT3 with 2WD, PDK, track/road switchable suspension, PCCB, 2 seats, no sunroof etc, less sound proofing and noiser exhaust. I can't wait to get my grubby mits on it.
If I don't get on with it I can always go searching for a 997GT3mk2 or a more torquey 991turbo when they come out.

Saw these piccies last night. Saw the video of the developement cars in Spain last month etc. The short answer, YES! Provided it has a huge chavvy proper GT3 wing on the back.
