I'm a Spitfire man, but that does look magnificent!!

There was a Spitfire in the museum in Stoke when I was growing up (Reginald Mitchell, the Supermarine designer, was a local boy) and I always thought it was the most amazing thing ever.

I remember a mate of mine telling me about a chap who owned a red Spitfire and who was being verbally berated by all and sundry for it. A simple, "so what colour is your Spitfire?" from the owner soon shut them up!

Still changing my mind...what's the consensus on an e61 550i manual, 1 owner, 60k miles, full bmw sh with an ins 2 just completed for £12k...assuming it all checks out.

Right.

PDK/DSG is awesome.

So much so i'm having DSG in my Golf GTI.

It's much better at changing gear on a kesselrun than i'll ever be and it allows me to concentrate on braking and steering.

I'm sorry, but i don't quite see what the big deal is.
