I do like them, not entirely sure why. I would have the saloon, in preference, and I wish the same-era Dodge Charger SRT-8 was sold here (I believe it is pretty much the same car underneath?).

The girlfriend will not be convinced, though, and I doubt either variant would fit on my drive, so its probably not going to happen.

a mate of mine fancied one of these, but then he simply had to have a 5 door renaultsport megane even though there's just him & his dorris & no kids.

bit of a strange lad when i come to think about it.

I was trying to think if I'd ever been in one, and recall having to change the windscreen in an early car.

Not as big on the inside as it would have you think.

Still would though.

Hmmm... scratchchin The extra bhp isn't quite enough to tempt me out of my 540i Touring.

Love that AMG.

Who needs a people carrier when that thing has 7 seats?

I absolutley love these. Even the boggo versions look very distinctive on the road (in a good way). One for me please ( minus those stupid wheels).

It looks quite nice on the OEM rims but those aftermarket things?.....does that means its been skimped on servicing too???????????
What correlation do they have!?
Well evidently someone willing to splash likely £2000-2500+ on rims would never ever consider spending £150 on servicing... rolleyes It's obvious isn't it? wink

I prefer this silver one - better mods, better tyres, 1000 less miles, better colour for about £1000 more.

the AMG estate, put two kids in the back seats with no seatbelts, launch it and try and get them to stick to the back window like Garfields

Rims. This was used as the wheels are very 'Pimp my Ride' in style.

It's not a change of editorial style for PH, merely a one-off.

Yo.
rofl

Only 6.summat on the PH wantometer??!

SRT for 10 bags seems reasonable even if it looks like a hearse...

Am I right in thinking the 6.1L engine doesn't use the multi-displacement system?

The hemi in the chrysler does appeal to my inner red neck but that merc is just epic cool

Typical Mercedes with more buttons on the dash than the starship enterprise though laugh

Preferred them in the Dodge guise, no chrome all black trims, looked so much better. Might need a tow bar to pull a fuel tanker though.

As I own a Crossfire I can only assume that the 300c is also a great car.

Never underestimate just how capable these cars are.

Pretty sure it's sub 5s
You would expect it to be. One of the guys who works for me has one and although it sounds great it really isn't that fast, especially in the corners!

He's quite knoweledgable in most car things and his best guess was late 5's to 60.

I like them.

But no v8 = fail. Surely that's the whole appeal of this big engined beasty. I'll keep my e39 m5 for now but it's good to know there are other options out there if I NEED an estate
