That video looks sus...almost like the veyron is holding back
I think we can more than likely trust the EVO video of the 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwhUF4we5Bg
Based on the few comments I looked at, the GT-R in the earlier video was a tuned one of some sort - it had 900 in the name though. Could explain the Veyron's apparent weakness.

Still waiting to see the SVM car they were building for Alex. That thing looked like to was going to be insane, full carbon fibre body work and all the engine mods they could fit under the bonnet.

Well done severn valley!

Building a powerful car and then getting it cleanly off the line is not easy.

I have been in a 1000 hp gtr and this makes me want one more!

Interesting to see a GT-R without the ubiquitous, massive wing so common on tuned cars. Strangely, the back almost looks naked without the factory aero-addenda.

So I guess the initial rumours of the R35 being "untunable" have been convincingly put to rest!

Massively quick! thumbup

Would like to see the svm car go against the ams one, id suspect its quicker as the yank car set its time on one of the usa's famous downhill drag strips.

Aussie, Godzilla motorsport, and NZ heat treatments 20 year old R32GT-R still destroys this thing. plus godzilla motorsport has a new RB26 powered R35 which dipped into 6s

But could you drive it home? To get something to be really good at one thing (going fast down a 1/4 mile strip of tarmac) is one thing - which doesn’t impress me too much.

Getting something to go fast down the drag strip and then being able to drive it home, with a dashboard and carpet still in it - Now that impresses me.

Of course none of these tuners give a monkeys about if I feel impressed or not
