Power wise? Nippy enough.....reminds me though I've driven plenty of 'fast' cars that were quick enough power wise. In terms of ability to actually stop-not quite so keen.

Not fast or quick (Saab 9-3 sport wagon vector turbo diesel) but its quick and fast enough to get me safely to work, and the high spec and those wonderful seats get me there comfortably too!

Legacy 3-litre auto. Only 240-something bhp but I am always at the back of a queue and never the front of one. I am rarely overtaken (motorways).

I've had Caterhams and a TVR Cerbera 4.5 V8 which are undeniably faster but it's often about how you use it, no?

At 220bhp/tonne mine should be, and up to around 70mph it's pretty quick. But it's got antediluvian aerodynamics, so no, not fast.

For the last two weeks it it has been feeling fast. I'm sure it will get boring soon and the spending will start again.

Yeah. All currently fleet are fast enough for me (relatively).

997.1 c2s
FFRR 4.4 tdv8
Defender 90 (Je engineering stage 2)

As I say, it's relative.

People who I've taken out in my Elise SC consider it to be very fast.

To the majority of people, anything over 200bhp/ton is a fast car.

I'd personally consider the Elise (and my M3 before it) to be 'quick' but not 'really fast'

Thinking of making an MEV Rocket using a clio williams base. So 150bhp in 500kg. Should be good for "fast".

However, it will never compare to a remapped 530d.

One day i will attain that level of fast.

I'd consider both of my Alpinas to be reasonably fast.

Most passengers are easily terrified when pressing on so it depends how you use it, I guess.

No. But it's small, low and open top so it feels pretty quick even if it's being out accelerated by diesel fleet tat.
