If they add the 500kg of hybrid garbage (per the 918)to the 4wd Panamera they may have a car that is heavier than a Bentley Continental GT...

Porsche 4x4, Porsche Diesel, Porsche Estate,
It's all over for the 'Sports' car brand, this is the same mistake Jaguar made. I know because Jag are doing so terribly right now.

I am a fan of this styling. I require a family car to seat my family and this sort of car would be ideal for a jaunt accross Europe in a fast, stylish and practical GT car.
Looking forward to it.

And you wouldn't catch Ferrari doing a 4x4 estate It's not a shooting brake (too many doors) or an estate (no big boxy arse to fll up with spaniels) but it is a fine looking thing indeed ... the return of the hot hatch?

X5TUU said: Is shooting-brake the 'new' word for estate!?! Nope it's a very old handle for estate. Have a Google for Jag XJS and Aston shooting brake conversions of old.

I really love the way it's been styled, and I may be wrong but didn't the last brilliant fast estate to feature rear lights like that also have Porsche DNA?

The original Panamera has got to be one of the ugliest cars on the market at the moment to my eye, but this is a genuinely attractive car. In fact I'd go so far as to say the best looking Porsche in over a decade.

I like this much better than the saloon, and I think it's looks better than the Ferrari shooting brake.

see, I actually like the way the rear is styled. A lot. Give me one of those with just two long doors, or even an RX-8 type setup with smaller 'suicide doors' and I'd be really, really tempted (in ten years or so when they might be a bit closer to my means...)
