Occasionally, we come across cars we've never heard of before.

This morning I Wiki'd the W124's after reading another poster had a W124 E300d 24v, (never new they existed).
Scrolling down all the models, I noticed there was an e60 6.0 litre AMG car, produced in limited numbers. I've always hankered for the 500e/ e500.

The E60 is very rare and sought after... they're also extensively copied, with lesser E's being converted and modified to look like the real thing.

A wonderful piece of engineering though, I'd love to have one.

The only thing that doesn't tempt me is the 4-speed autos in these and the 500s. It makes me think it won't be all that fun. But I haven't driven one to find out.
