Great thread!

Really enjoy reading the build threads behind these, had this one bookmarked on here but progress/updates have come to a halt for the mo.

5 litre V10 from the M6 in an E46 M3. Not crazy like some of them, but a exercise in tight packaging.

Like that a lot... Could be a bit expensive at around twice the price of a 996TT or more than a good 997TT (as examples) but the engine is more 'exotic' in my mind, which certainly does add something, as well as its (presumably) relative uniqueness.

Nothing, it's "Ferrambo" (Ferrari + Rambler).

There was also a mk7 Fiesta that I read about recently that had the entire floorpan of a Sapphire 4x4 cut down to fit the body, with 500bhp or somewhere near.

Then there's MadRod and his top speed Saph, over a 1000bhp from a 2ltr YB and over 200mph!

Long live the Cossie YB!
Im sure that mk7 was featured in PFord mag year and half ago. Green, mean and very very understated! Im a Ford Nut who drives a Swift haha!
Efa more like a year and a half ago it was featured not couple months! Oh how time flys! Haha

Don't know if it qualifies as lunacy but looks a lot of fun.

That must require a very short driver! IIRC there isn't really any empty space between the seats and the place the firewall would have been other than a tiny speaker shelf and the gap created by the angle of the seat backs.
