You have to admit, if someone today invented the horse or the bicycle they'd never be allowed on the roads!
Check out Ozzie's changes to the Highway Code,
253 "Prohibited vehicles.Motorways Roads MUST NOT be used by pedestrians or holders of provisional motorcycle or car licences. Motorcycles under 50 cc, cyclists, horse riders, certain slow-moving vehicles and those carrying oversized loads. Agricultural vehicles and powered wheelchairs/powered mobility scooters (see Rules 36-46 incl) are also banned from motorways."

May I also suggest that there should be no parking, these poor people who cant afford off road parking should not be able to possess a car. Would not trouble us as we all have our shopping delivered and there would be plenty free spaces in car parks at other locations due to the lack of people who would be allowed a car.

exactly right. Were on the market now. Anything without parking to suit our needs is struck from the list.thinfourth2 said:
Not a day goes past without someone complaining about lorries, buses, horses, cyclists, cheap cars, joggers, cyclists etc and so on
So do you think that only cars should be on the road?
With no fuel tankers on the road, it won't be long before there are no cars on the road either! So do you think that only cars should be on the road?

Just pipe it from the refinery. Simples Ban any car less than 2 litres unless it puts out more than 100 bhp/litre.
Anything over 2 litres can produce less than 100 bhp/litre but at least 70 bhp/litre as we don't want any rolling roadblocks.
Blackboxes will be fitted to all cars, failure to average at least 90% of the posted speed limit will result in the driver going on a driving course and a petrol subsidy to help them get a fking move on!
Averaging 100% of the posted speed limit or above will result in a petrol subsidy as the driver is obviously keeping their foot down and using a lot of petrol.
Bikers will be expected to maintain at least 150% of all posted limits except when it is raining when they will be issued with either a chaffeur driven car or an M car or RS Audi if they wish to drive themselves.
