Banning everything is just stupid.

However I do think things could be improved with restrictions, lorries only on the road at certain times etc...
I'll bite. What times would those be?

Seeing as this thread has been started by one of the most sarcastic bast-rds on PH I've answered the poll sarcastically.
Has someone ruffled your feathers?

I think It's more "how" rather than "what" uses the road that's more important.
Exactly. What a completed stupid thread, guess the OP has been sniffing the sherry.

[quote=sat1983]Less lorries and more on freight trains.[/quot

This is already happening, but it still requires lorries to deliver to supermarkets etc. Also how do you think your new car gets to the dealers, er by truck. I`ts not trucks that are the problem. People keep on about getting trucks of the road but just think back to when there was the fuel protests, fuel was in short supply, food was getting low in the shops, etc

May I also suggest that there should be no parking, these poor people who cant afford off road parking should not be able to possess a car. Would not trouble us as we all have our shopping delivered and there would be plenty free spaces in car parks at other locations due to the lack of people who would be allowed a car.
its law in some countries that you have to prove you have a parking space before you can have a car... Should be the same here !!!
Where??

Users breaching these restrictions have their horse put down.
Surely a better option is to put to breaching user down, no repeat offenders that way wink

Ban any car less than 2 litres unless it puts out more than 100 bhp/litre.

Anything over 2 litres can produce less than 100 bhp/litre but at least 70 bhp/litre as we don't want any rolling roadblocks.

Blackboxes will be fitted to all cars, failure to average at least 90% of the posted speed limit will result in the driver going on a driving course and a petrol subsidy to help them get a fking move on!

Averaging 100% of the posted speed limit or above will result in a petrol subsidy as the driver is obviously keeping their foot down and using a lot of petrol.

Bikers will be expected to maintain at least 150% of all posted limits except when it is raining when they will be issued with either a chaffeur driven car or an M car or RS Audi if they wish to drive themselves.

He's also just wiped out one of the best sportscars ever in the Elise, so doesn't have my vote.
