So, let me recap.

V8, manly, shoots flames on the overrun, loud, hairy chested. What you need is a hot/rat rod.

For your consideration I give you the DeTomaso Longchamp. Chest wig and medallion required.

Just needs a red indian and a construction worker to complete the picture...

OP, the damage is done. There is no return.

Well if the damage is done, I may as well get another Harley biggrin

You can't beat a v twin that vibrates directly through the pillion seat at 70mph as foreplay IMHO - my last bike did exactly that, many a time I would get a tap on the shoulder and a gasped 'don't slow down' from female pillions. God I miss that bike.

Agreed a few points but I see your AUTOMATIC 5.8 that weighs 2 tons and raise you a manual, 6.0 V8 that weighs 1.3 tons that I bought last month

wink

Admittedly its possibly too pretty to be called "a manly virile monster" but it sounds fantastic
I raise you a 7.0 that weighs just over 1.4 tonnes?
Ha - then I'll get my Dad...

He has a Pantera with (IIRC) 9 litre, 850bhp and weighs a little over a ton. (Officially timed at 218mph)

What you really need is a Supercharged V8 Land Rover like this one:

This is lovely. My friends from Germany used to have one, I'd forgotten all about it.

This is amazing and just the sort of thing
that should be filling the hole in my garage. Can you share some more details on it please?
