The air time was good hey, but the underside of my splitter did take a hammering but scrapes is all it was and still in one piece, but it is strong as and plenty of pre made testing on the ring and autobahn by Lightweight.

Looking forward to later next month, then the Euro drive 2013 biggrin
Your splitter definitely held up well. Would love a passenger ride at IOM to see how your 1M compares to a standard one.

But keep in mind the recaro's Audi/VW fit are an expensive option and not the standard seating, but saying that you can fit the BMW Performance recaro, again an expensive seat to fit.....
I know, but they seem to be more common than not in the rs4.
If you mean the B7 RS4 that'll be because they were standard...deleting them for the comfort seats was a no-cost option

Nice one mate, and great colour wink

Well my ideal route may be a little far but I have done it before, Head west biggrin Sydney to Norseman (might as well get Perth in if you go that far lol) turn around and hit the Nullabor again and head east, drop into Adelaide for some fuel and then hit the coast finishing up on the great ocean road and back to dreary Melbourne......Now if your'e stretched for time head from Sydney via the Princess Highway south along the coast taking in the great scenery and beaches, hit the border and make your way into Melbourne via Orbost, Lakes Entrance and on to Bairnsdale, better still, from NSW side take a right at Batesman Bay to Canberra and head down to Cooma then take in the snowy mountain region, then down to Bombala and across the boarder or I would head over to Bega and hit the coast again down to Eden.......Now that could be a nice drive and to get acquainted with a great car, just don't bore yourself silly hitting the Hume all the way back.

The torque on these little monsters are amazing, 2nd gear @ low revs, m button pressed and floor it! so addictive only niggle is the over restricting traction control which you better leave on unless your seriously competent or after trouble!

Funny... second thing I always do when I get in the car is hold down the DSC button till the little skidding car signals the DSC is fully off. (First thing's hitting the M button.) Roads here are slippery as hell, but I find the car very progressive when it does lose it, and even with the MDM on it just seems to truncate its personality.

A number of members of our 1M club have changed from the standard Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tyres over to the newer and vastly superior Michelin Pilot SuperSports. I know the Evo car was running SuperSports!

Everyone using them have reported that traction is greatly improved, along with ride, grip (wet and dry), noise, wear...the list goes on. When my PS2s are dead I'll be putting SuperSports on!

I too have a Z4M Coupe.... Driving a 1 M Coupe is very different. 1 M just has so much more torque, from very low down the rev range, it feels manic, always wanting to break traction, especially in the wet. I still love the sound of the Z4M as it nears the red line.... but I have to say the 1 M sounds great too.....

My wife has told me to swap the Z4M as we have two kids, 1 M Coupe is on my short list, along with M135i.... Decisions decisions.....

Yep I need to know too..... Head is saying M135i Auto to replace my Z4M Coupe, but heart is getting seriously tempted by a lightly used, but more costly 1M Coupe......
