Ah I see.... I think you could be right.

I'm now very close to buying a low mileage 2012 registered M Coupe in white.....

Evora is a late left field possibility.... Wife would hate it though.....

Yep had an E92 M3 back in 2007 when they came out..... Loved it, but don't want to go back again..... 1M Coupe rarer and I love the look of it.

So Mr Harris, I blame you...... Less than a year ago, I bought my Z4M Coupe as a weekend fun car...... but after reading a couple of your Pistonheads articles, I've now put down a deposit on a 2,000 mile 61 plate 1 M Coupe in Black.... Gets delivered on Friday and I can't wait!!

What kind of mpg are these giving at an 80mph m-way cruise?

Doing around 20k miles a year at the moment, 350z is pulling 26.3mpg on a mix of mostly m-way, country roads and the Dartford crossing.

I can mentally justify a M135i due to an expected 35mpg but longterm tests indicate that the 1M is closer to the Z in fuel?

Although an M135i with a quaife LSD is the ideal tool for every occasion!

Mpg . . . really. These cars are not about mpg.

Congrats - clearly the previous owner did not keep the car for long. Anyone else noticed if 1M's are changing hands earlier than you would expect, for this great all in one package?

Go on then, tell us how they compare. I need to find an eventual successor to my Z4M smile

Barely used it.... delivered Jan 2012, running in service in Apri, another 1,000 miles added then sold back to supplying dealer. Whilst there are a few early changers there are usually less than 10 for sale in the BMW network, plus a few on pistonheads, so looks like most of the 450 sold are still being used / enjoyed..... I'm glad the previous owner hardly used mine..
