OK so they're not 'gullwing' but they are still cool!

SLR for me, the SLS just doesn't look as 'special'

And it's full name includes the word 'McLaren'
And for the love of God, get a load of those exhausts..

Has to be the SLR for me, so much more special. It's one of my all time favourite supercars, and is probably my favourite front engined supercar. It's the ultimate GT imo, classy, comfortable and with an absolutely staggering engine.

I do like the SLS, but it's just not as special as the SLR to me.

I prefer the look of the SLS but would probably go for the SLR as it is the more 'special' car.The black one does look nice though.

SLR

More of an 'event'! And rarer.

And THAT noise!

The SLR for me, but only just.

What swings it for me is the keyless go start button on the SLR being under a lid just like the ejector seat in Bond's DB5. I looked at buying an SLR gear lever from my SL 55 to get the same effect but it is several grand!

Then again I think an SLS is more likely to become affordable due to availability and relative lack of prestige 'vs the McMerc.

SLR for me, do like the SLS, but for me the McMerc just looks more brutal and sounds incredibly savage.

It is also a chunk faster than the SLS due to the power delivery. For me the SLR is a car defined by the engine 1st, and everything else comes after that. Yes the SLS sounds good but it is an 'MP3' sound whereas the SLR is good old fashioned vinyl.
