You're one of the good guys? Because you let people sit in your tractor?
No, silly. It's because he told tranter he was full of crap then ignored his response!

It's not paedophilia, or even peopophilia. It was a joke. Dry your eyes.

The kids were in and out of it all afternoon with their parents taking pictures. They loved it and so did I. I really cant imagine why anyone would be so grumpy not to let a kids sit in their car. confused

Went out in my 7 a few years back and when i came back there was a kid sitting in it and someone taking a picture. I was not very amused. If they had asked then yes no problem but to just jump in when the owner is not there take the piss.

I remember when I was about 6 or 7 my friend and i were drooling over a jaguar XKR-S on the road and the guy actually came out of the house and opened it up, let us sit in it and rev it up. I think he was probably more pleased than us. A true petrolhead will always take the time to talk about and show off their pride and joy. Mr Lambo sounds like a knob. I also remember waiting for over an hour at the corner of my road waiting for my mates dad to come home with his split new 205 GTI, first thing he did when he did arrive was bundle us 2 in the back and take us for a spin.
Yet another example would be my dad. Every sunday he would take me and my sister out in his magenta kit car and chuck it into corners and have us sliding around the leather in the back seats. Was brilliant fun. Despite the old health and safety brigade having kittens about such things we are all still alive and have a head full of good memories.
Petrolheads = good dads!

no-one know what he was doing or thinking. Just saying "he's a nob" makes you sound like a nob.

Can't find the original post but would like to know why accusing someone of anything paedophilic isn't a straight red and a lengthy/perminant forum ban

I had a similar situation over the summer. Went to a car meet in the Vantage. Park up and there is a young lad with his mother pointing at the car. He comes over (practically dragging his mum) and says to me that he loves Aston Martins. I asked if he would like to sit in it. The look on his face was a picture, and I was immediately transported back to the 80's when I was a boy and I got to sit in my uncle's brand new M5.

I pushed the seat forward as far as it went and, with him barely able to see over the steering wheel - I asked him if he would like to start the car. The look on his face was a picture, even more so when I said he could blip the throttle a few times. I'd made that young lad's day.... he even said he would write about it when he went back to schoo.... and his mum said I was lovely. I hope he remembers the day he got to sit in an Aston and start the engine, because in 30 years time he will be my age, and maybe there will be another 8 year old lad with his mum at a car meet.....

So why did I do this.....?

Exactly.....because his mother was a hottie...

For some reason he likes to delete every one of his posts that someone has quoted or replied to?

Unless someone else is deleting them for him?
No, it is definitely him. He was also repeatedly changing his username and quoting himself with different usernammes and changed his picture from a GTR to a tractor

I went to the P1 supercar club open day in the Summer at Horsely Towers. Amazingly, they let me in with my Westfield. My bright orange £10,000 was parked up with Zondas, 599 & Enzo Ferraris, Keonigseggs, Aventatodors etc etc but guess which car all the kids wanted to sit in? Yep, my little Westy.

The kids were in and out of it all afternoon with their parents taking pictures. They loved it and so did I. I really cant imagine why anyone would be so grumpy not to let a kids sit in their car.
It might have something to do with the fact that they don't want the hassle of finding somebody to fix their pride and joy when little Johnny with his sticky mits and grit filled shoes helps to age their vehicle considerably with their carelessness, whereas it would make practically no difference in a 10K kit car.
