I think there is a subculture of young drivers who just buy these undeclared cars because they can't legitimately insure high performance cars.
Very possibly?

There is a market of sorts for such cars and the various ways in which car blogs and so on offer opportunities to dispose of them without too many questions.

Mainstream advertisers all make some efforts to prevent this activity but it does still go on. The reality is that such cars are run illeglly and without effective insurance. Danger to responsible motoring but it is still happening?

Hence the regular appearances on here! Best avoided IMO.

Strewth - 1.8 turbo in a Lupo; that thing must shift!

Here's another one

Only been 9 years since the conversion so he's probably not had chance to get it sorted yet.

Indeed it is anther one. Best avoided not legal OTR and no chance of getting the registration validated given the changes. I am surprised how many of these are still about. The DVLA/VOSA were supposed to be ensuring that this practice ceased. Not yet it would seem from all the cars of ths type appearing on PH regularly with MOT's. Pity!

If you're going to put the effort in to replace the engine - why replace it with one that probably only has 30bhp more than it came with originally.

It's in Southall, if you go there you'll immediately understand why.

261891024168 ebay again.

Fiesta mrk1 1.3 finesse on the V5

Except under the bonnet it's a 2.1 zetec turbo.

You'd think he'd have had the smarts to change it before the Fast Ford magazine feature. Obviously not.

I think the exhaust can for a back box has Max Power 2001 written all over it. hehe

It either has an invalid M.O.T because the tester gave his guide dog the day off or it has an invalid M.O.T because it's based on the original platform.

This would be a lot easier to arrange than doing the conversion!

Has 12 months mot, completely resprayed and 100 percent rust free massive spec and professionally built. Coupe leather seats, wheels, suspension, brakes, fmic, 3inch exhaust, cam belt changed less than 1k miles ago, recently serviced.
It's a coupe plus engine with a 6 speed box and LSD as standard. Has been designed so Cambelt can be changed without dropping the engine. The guy that built this was a engineer for Aston Martin (my dad)
Please contact me for more details, possibly the only one in the UK?

I fail to see why these are bad? Surely as long as you declare to insurance then your ok?

Feels like déjà vu that I've asked this before.
